You see for you, and all other xbox and ps2 players the rosters came as they were just before the start of last season (When the Saints went 10-6). I would probably still be playing 07 now if the rosters weren't as they were. I was so surprised at how much I got out of it. I was just a beginner with no American Football knowledge before I got this game and was able to just pick it up and start playing. I bought 07 (PS2) and now own 08 (PS3) as well. Whereas, i'm guessing that the beginning roster of Madden '08 has a high ranked Saints team because of the NFC championship appearance. This means that the '07 Madden game may have a Saints roster that is not ranked very high because this was before their NFC championship appearance. And i do not have and will not get xbox live. He said that the '07 Madden has rosters based on the 06 (before the season started) and then based on projections. I can get Madden '07 for xbox for about 20 bucks, or i can pay an extra 10 for Madden '08.
